Book Design and Creative Direction for Treasures of the Indian Kitchen, a cookbook by Leena Prakash.
Designed to preserve and celebrate Leena’s family recipes, the book traces a culinary journey across India shaped by her family’s travels with her military grandfather. As her grandmother learned regional meals and traditions along the way, those authentic recipes became part of the family’s legacy. A color-coded map of India helps readers connect each region’s cuisine with its culture. The book also features cooking techniques, photography of Leena’s dishes, and her personal collection of Indian textiles.
Incorporating Leena's personal textile collection throughout gave the reader a taste of Indian culture, history and passion for color!
