ABOUT

With over 25 years of experience building brands, designing products, and bringing creative visions to life, Malia is known for delivering thoughtful, impactful design solutions. A trusted creative partner, she thrives in collaborative environments—leading with clarity, building strong relationships, and consistently driving results.

Her portfolio reflects a wide-ranging career, from launching global initiatives like Microsoft Windows and developing iconic Levi’s t-shirts, to rebranding Hong Kong bakeries and raising funds for children’s charities. Malia’s work spans Fortune 500 companies, luxury brands, and mission-driven non-profits alike.

Equally versed in business and design, she’s a skilled project manager and a steady hand for principals in interior design and architecture. Her 11 years in Hong Kong running her own studio brought international depth to her practice, where she built a name for herself designing bespoke wedding stationery and branding boutique firms in wine, books, and events.

Since 2013, Malia has focused on interior and hospitality design—bringing a strategic, detail-oriented approach to high-end residential projects across the U.S., from Chicago to Los Angeles and Palm Beach.

Based in Chicago, she works both remotely and on-site, partnering with clients to shape spaces and stories that leave a lasting impression.
