Her portfolio spans a diverse array of projects, including high-profile collaborations with Fortune 500 companies, luxury brands, and non-profits. Highlights include leading initiatives such as the Microsoft Windows launch, developing Levi Strauss & Co. graphic t-shirts, and rebranding Hong Kong bakeries and tea shops, fundraising product design for children’s charities and local schools.

Malia brings a wealth of expertise in design, product development, and client relationship management. Known for her ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients, trades, and team partners, she is a trusted project manager and confidante to principals of interior design and architecture firms. Her international experience is grounded in the 11 years she spent in Hong Kong running her own stationery, branding, and design firm, Studio M, where she gained recognition as a luxury wedding invitation designer and brand builder for boutique rare book dealers, wine merchants, and event planners.

Since returning to the U.S., Malia has focused on hospitality and residential interior design projects, with a strong emphasis on project management. She skillfully manages project workflows, oversees client presentations, selects and sources products and finishes, and ensures seamless installations in luxury homes across key markets, including Palm Beach, Aspen, Chicago’s North Shore, and Park City.
