Family recipes, carefully shared by Leena’s grandmother whose travels throughout India came to life in ‘Treasures of the Indian Kitchen’. Incorporating the author’s personal textile collection throughout the book along with stories and recipes created a cultural experience of food, color and history… you could almost hear and taste the Indian , color coding the recipes to coordinate with a map to educate the aspiring cook as where each recipe originated from within India.
